"Hotel is ideal for what you pay, nothing overly fancy but you know that when booking. Rooms are small, but common for ski resort. had a nice mountain view. Lockers are handy, ski in ski out, ski lift outside the door, bus stop outside. It is a great location. We were half board, breakfast catered for Gluten free which was great, dinner didnt have as many options for gluten free. Different dinner options daily although we went out some nights for a change. Couldnt complain, seating area and bar also. Could be noisy at nights with people coming home, walls are thin. Wifi was good. Would return and stay again"

"Sheets and towels werent changed every day, and by the time we returned from skiing we couldnt find any to replace. they were probably replaced every 2 days. Not the worst and would still return"

"Great location right on the slopes and with a lift almost built on the side. Also three minute walk to the centre/bus station/leisure centre. Friendly staff and entertainment at night and snacks provided when you come off the slopes"

"Downside is no pool and the spa is pretty much booked solid if you don’t book on day 1. Rooms are quite small and only one heater so we struggled to dry our ski gear and towels for 3 and the towels were only changed Tues and thurs. Also the ski room was very small and our boots didn’t dry fully. But do not let this put you off it’s a great place to stay"

"Th location, staff and food were great. As a family we had two interconnecting rooms which worked great (we booked a family room, not sure if this is what the two interconnecting rooms were). The accommodation is basic but beds were comfortable and we were happy. The food had a large variety each meal which suited our variety of needs from salads through to hearty dishes and desert. The rose wine included with meals was nice. Overall we were very happy with our choice."

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was brilliant: the locker room exit took you out to the piste and you can ski back to the door or get a bubble (also to the door). The hotel has its own ski/board hire shop too which is so convenient if you’re hiring. The food was excellent and there was wine on offer with all meals (included in price). The restaurant manager was super-friendly and asked us several times how we found the food. The atmosphere in the dining room was calm and relaxed. The bar area is very comfortable and the bar staff are great. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up every day."

"The room was very compact but had everything we needed (without the frills). The only toiletries we received were 3 bars of hard soap. If you were late for meals there was barely anything left so we ensured we got there at the start of every meal time. There were no tea making facilities but we were aware of this and we took a travel kettle with Tetley and coffee. Some of our beers were taken from the room on our last day :("

"The location is excellent. Can ski home from Pioneers lift or Plein Sud lift, or get the Cairn gondola to the back door. The breakfast and dinners were fantastic. Friendly and fun staff. It was our second MMV stay and we highly recommend them."

"Great location for skiing, but the hotel looks tired for 4*. We had a triple room and 2 of us barely fit, can't imagine 3 people with their luggage and all the ski gear in them. Half/Full Board rules are super unclear, what's included and what's not, even to the staff - we had wine included with the dinner, but apparently you can't have hot tea after your meal (had to pay extra at the bar), and teas are only reserved for breakfast. Food itself was plentiful and filling, but not extraordinary by any stretch. Daily apres ski snacks were a nice touch. Spa facilities are ok, but visits need to be booked daily, however steam room was barely warm and without any steam, probably due to poorly fitting door. So overall, the stay was ok, definitely not a 4* experience, but we were there to ski and not seeking luxuries."

"The hotel was overall very good. Service from staff was excelllent. They were readily available and very helpful. We found the food very good, plenty of it and good variety. Lovely warm bedroom, we were able to control the temperature and have it hotter during the day but cooler at night. Nice view overlooking the slope. Access to the ski slope and closeness of Cairn gondola was excelllent."

"Food could have been hotter but there was a microwave which we used. Beds were too hard and water pressure in the shower could have been better. No English TV channels although they did manage to get us BBC world news. Check in on Saturday was very busy, they could have had more staff on duty and the form for the police could have been completed online prior to arrival."
